Miller: ‘I couldn’t ask for a better pre-season’

Jack Miller admits that things have gone almost exactly to plan across the Moto3™ pre-season so far, with the Australian leading the way in Jerez on Wednesday.

For 2014, Miller has switched to the Red Bull KTM Ajo outfit which narrowly missed out on the title with Luis Salom last season. On the second of three days in Jerez this week, the Australian rider topped the timesheets by almost three tenths of a second.

“Today was definitely a good day for us,” he began. “We have managed to test a lot of stuff and get a decent lap time in. The rest of it is working really well and we are enjoying it a lot. There is a lot of stuff to test here and for that we are very lucky with KTM.

“I don’t think I could ask for a better pre-season. It has been really good for us; a lot of learning both by myself and with the team as well.”

Last year, Miller ended the seventh overall campaign with Caretta Technology – RTG, racking up no less than 11 top ten finishes en route.
