Jorge Martin will be operated on at the Orthopedic Clinic of the University Hospital of Modena by Professor Fabio Catani, director of the Complex Structure of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the AOU of Modena, and by the hand injury surgeon Luigi Tarallo, eminent specialist in the sector . The operation was coordinated by Ducati, a brand with which the rider has a contract until the end of the season.
