Toprak Razgatlioglu and the MotoGP test with Yamaha: ‘This is very important to understand whether I like the bike or not’

With the Superbike World Championship back in competition in Estoril, Toprak Razgatlioglu in his preview recalled two topics that have been discussed much lately concerning him: the crash with Jonathan Rea in Assen, and more recently, the MotoGP test that will take place in June.

‘[…]. I forget now about Assen. This is a race crash. First it was my mistake, I went a little bit wide but not off the track, but Jonny normally looks at me. He has a bit more space on the track, but he’s not using the space, and we crash. There’s been no contact. We are now focused on the race, so he’s focused’, the Yamaha rider began to say, also admitting some of the blame for what happened.

Then the turk recalled the MotoGP test he has in the near future: ‘We have a Yamaha MotoGP™ test and for me this is very important because I understand whether I like the bike or not, because it’s completely different to the Superbike’.
