Aprilia Racing is the new leader in the teams standings after Assen

Aprilia Racing’s round at Assen earned it the lead in the teams’ championship, beating Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP, which moved into second place in the list of teams, with the same points as the Ducati Lenovo Team.

Aprilia was 13 points behind Yamaha in the Team World Championship, but the Japanese giant did not score in the Netherlands, as a result of early retirements in the race by Fabio Quartararo and Franco Morbidelli.

Aprilia added 29 points. 16 by Maverick Viñales, who took the podium, and 13 by Aleix Espargaro, who was fourth. Ducati, which was fourth, even behind its satellite Pramac, was the team that scored the most points in Assen, 35, thanks to Jack Miller’s ten points and Pecco Bagnaia’s 25.
