Maverick Vinales with a rare achievement in MotoGP

Maverick Viñales took third place in the MotoGP Dutch GP last sunday. In this way, the rider took the podium for the first time in the service of Aprilia, doing what few have achieved throughout history.

In this way, Viñales took the podium at the service of three different manufacturers throughout his career. The first was in his second season, with a third place for Team Suzuki Ecstar at the 2016 French GP. A year later, he joined Monster Energy Yamaha with victory at the Qatar GP. Now he’s got his first top three with Aprilia, where he reached the finals last year.

In addition to Viñales, six other riders had podiums with at least three different manufacturers in the premier class (500cc/MotoGP) – either by official or satellite teams: Alex Barros, Andrea Dovizioso, Cal Crutchlow, Loris Capirossi, Marco Melandri and Valentino rossi
