A few weeks ago, Fabio Quartararo confirmed his renewal with Monster Energy Yamaha in MotoGP until 2024, something that was not a foregone conclusion despite winning the title last year.
In an interview with DAZN, and quoted by GPOne, the Frenchman admitted that there were some doubts after the expected competitive leap did not occur, but underlined his confidence in the team and its promising future:
– When you win a championship with a team and the following year you don’t improve as you’d like, the truth is that you have doubts. I’ve chosen the best project and I believe that Yamaha will be the best team for the next few years.
