Yamaha makes ‘mixed evaluation’ of the first part of the MotoGP season

After 11 rounds, Monster Energy Yamaha has Fabio Quartararo at the top of the MotoGP World Championship. The rider could manage very well to achieve two titles in a row and the team itself is fully in the fight for the team and constructors’ titles. Its director, Massimo Meregalli, is not unhappy with the trajectory so far.

To the official website of the championship, the official said that there are mixed feelings about the season so far, with Quartararo naturally on the positive side: ‘It is a mixed evaluation, because on the one hand we are extremely satisfied, happy. We probably didn’t start the way we wanted to. But then we started to improve our performance and results a lot and leading the championship before the break was something we wanted and achieved. It’s very important’.

As for Franco Morbidelli, who is currently in a modest 19th place, Meregalli noted the mutual trust in recovering: ‘On the other side of the garage, we are struggling because we had other hopes for Franky. But we know him and he has a strong belief. And together we are certain that we will put him back where he should be’.
