Jack Miller dismisses rear device problems: ‘It’s a part of the bike that can break down’

In the German GP race, Alex Marquez (LCR Honda) and Maverick Viñales (Aprilia) were affected by problems with their respective rear height adjustment devices, which got stuck. Ducati pioneered this solution and Jack Miller has not avoided having some problems in the past.

The Australian stated in the press conference that it is natural that the device breaks down, like any other mechanical component on the bikes, and he downplayed what happened to his rivals at Sachsenring:

– I was the first to start using it, so of course I had several problems. But now the system is more or less implemented. It’s like anything. There are 24 rear height devices on the grid, so 24 engines and 24 of other things, so it’s a part of the bike that can break down. Unfortunately for Maverick, it broke down in this race, but at the end of the day it’s mechanical components and you can have problems.
