Carlo Pernat believes Jorge Martin has fallen too far this MotoGP season

Jorge Martin is currently one of the candidates for a place in the factory Ducati MotoGP team in 2023. However, the season has not been kind to the Pramac rider, who has abandoned four races and failed to score in another – having taken just two podiums in 11 rounds.

In his rider assessment for GPOne.com, rider manager Carlo Pernat said that Martin has had too many crashes and has not been performing to his expectations, and that more was expected from the #89:

– He started the season with a bike not in shape, bur he crashed four times, five with the one caused by [Francesco] Bagnaia in Qatar. That’s to manny for a rider who aspired to something more and he even hasn’t done any great races lately, he’s in a bit of trouble. More was expected from him.
