The Aerox 155 is the flagship scooter in India Yamaha Motor’s line-up.
By Auto Today: India Yamaha Motor today announced the price of the 2022 Aerox 155 Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP edition. The maxi-sports scooter’s MotoGP edition is priced at Rs 1,41,300 (ex-showroom, New Delhi), while the standard model is available for Rs 1,39,300 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
The company had recently introduced the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP edition line-up for 2022 under its ‘The Call of the Blue’ brand identity.
The Aerox 155 sports an all-black color treatment and has Yamaha MotoGP branding on the visor, front apron, front mudguard, side panels and rear panels. The maxi-sports scooter is inspired by the color scheme of the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP M1 motorcycle.
Powering the Aerox 155 is a new-generation 155 cc Blue Core engine (liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve) equipped with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA). The motor is mated to a CVT unit and produces 15 PS of maximum power and 13.9 Nm of peak torque.
Among the key features of the Aerox 155 are LED headlight and taillight, 24.5-liter under-seat storage, external fuel lid, Bluetooth-enabled Y-Connect app, 14-inch wheels with 140 mm rear tire and single-channel ABS.
Yamaha launched the Aerox 155 in India in September 2021. At that time, the maxi-sports scooter’s MotoGP edition was priced at Rs 1,30,500 (ex-showroom, New Delhi) and the standard model at Rs 1,29,000 (ex-showroom , New Delhi).
