The words of Becco Bagnaia
Pecco Bagnaia spoke after a difficult Friday of free practice, conditioned by cold and wind: “I have to take a risk but Quartararo has to do it too because it is too important to stay in front. These two races are not the best for our bike, but this year. we have already shown that we can be competitive on tracks we weren’t on last year”.
“In any case, the strategy will always be that of the last few races: push and try to do the maximum possible without thinking too much about the championship, because it’s time to attack.”
“Honestly, at the beginning of this morning I was struggling with the wind, then we did something that improved the situation and in fact I also improved my pace in the second and third runs. In the afternoon the wind was even stronger and perhaps, for my setting or for my riding style, I struggled enough. Even in this case, however, we managed to make a step and in the third run I had a good pace with the used tires”.
