After five years in Ducati colors, Jack Miller is preparing for his final MotoGP dance with the Desmosedici at Valencia this weekend.

With the Australian set for a switch to KTM for 2023, Circuit Ricardo Tormo sees Miller bid farewell to the Ducati Lenovo squad as his teammate, Pecco Bagnaia, battles for the 2022 title.

21 podiums, three on the top step, sum up a rollercoaster five seasons at the Bologna factory for the 27-year-old. Miller is also still gunning for third in the overall championship standings with 23 points covering Aleix Espargaro, Enea Bastianini and himself in the top five battle.

“I am happy to be back racing in Valencia, a track I really like and where I have been competitive in recent years,” Miller said of his last weekend in red. “It will be a special weekend for the team, with Pecco fighting for the title, but it will also be my last race with the Ducati Lenovo Team and riding a Desmosedici GP.

“I hope to bid farewell to Ducati by getting one last important result.

“Mathematically I also still have a chance to finish third in the championship. It is not easy, but until the end, we will work to try to reach this important goal together.”
