‘Incredible’race from Brad Binder gave ‘boost’ to KTM, Francesco Guidotti guarantees: ‘This podium was better than Qatar!’

Although he ended the season without a win – something that hasn’t happened before in his two previous seasons and since he’s been in MotoGP – Brad Binder returned to perform at a great level where in Valencia and Francesco Guidotti didn’t spare the words of praise for the south african and assured that such a performance was a good way to start 2023.

The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team Manager spoke after the race about the performance of the number 33 who gradually gained places and in the end finished +0.396s behind the winner, Alex Rins.

– We started 2022 on the podium and now we finish up there but I think this one was better than Qatar! He was close to winning the race but it was an incredible run and so nice to see him so motivated right until the end. It is a good sign and a good starting point for the 2023 test on Tuesday. This great result gives us – and everyone in the factory – a boost.

KTM also said goodbye to Miguel Oliveira and is going to have Jack Miller for the next season, with the Australian testing right today.
