MotoGp, Pecco Bagnaia: “It will be a very complicated year”
Trenitalia has decided to pay homage to Pecco Bagnaia and Ducati with an ad hoc livery, presented on Thursday at Rome’s Termini station. “A new look for the Frecciarossa1000 dedicated to a special partner and team: Ducati, Pecco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini: Italian excellence continues to travel together! Enjoy La Corsa, because it’s only just beginning,” Trenitalia wrote on Twitter.
During the presentation Bagnaia took the floor: “I’ll try to be found 100% like I was in the middle of the season last year, without making any mistakes. I think I’ve learned something from last year, we’ll see. The commitment and dedication will be those of defending the title. There are many fast riders and fast bikes and therefore it will be a very complicated year. Sprint? It’s a new race for everyone. We are preparing to get to 100% and get there as best as possible. It will be easier to manage it from the second weekend”.
Also present at the event was Gigi Dall’Igna, general manager of Ducati: “The Ferrovie dello Stato gave us an incredible emotion, it’s wonderful to see a high-speed train branded Ducati. Both wear the same colour, the winning red, and they also have a lot of technology in common. Ducati has paved the way for brand new technologies in MotoGP and beyond. The very high speed is the great demonstration of this”.
