Straight to the Sachsenring for the Repsol Honda Team

Marc Marquez wants to continue the perfection of the Sachsenring, while Stefan Bradl joins the Repsol Honda Team for his home round.

After an important second place in Assen, the Repsol Honda Team has already shifted its focus to the ninth lap – the German GP. The 3.7 km long track is one of the best tracks of the reigning champion Marc Marquez on the calendar. Since joining the premier class in 2013, Marquez has turned pole position into victory on each of his six visits to the German track.

While Jorge Lorenzo focuses on recovering from his injuries sustained at Assen, HRC test driver Stefan Bradl will join the Repsol Honda team on the second RC213V. The German driver has already raced once in Jerez this year, where he finished tenth, and in 2012 and 2013 on a Honda twice reached the top 5 at the Sachsenring.

The Repsol Honda Team continues to wish Jorge Lorenzo a speedy recovery in achieving his goal of returning to the Czech GP.

The action at the Sachsenring begins on Friday, July 5th at 9:55 am local time with free practice 1. The 30-lap MotoGP race ends on Sunday, July 7th at 2:00 pm local time, before the MotoGP World Championship goes into summer break.
