Jack Miller tests WorldSBK Ducati Panigale V4 R Superbike

JACK MILLER may be racing in the MotoGP World Championship, but that doesn’t mean he can’t plan for a different future if his latest escapade on the track can be believed.

The Pramac Racing rider traded his Ducati GP19 for a Ducati Panigale V4 R during an Open Track Day in Spain – the bike that dominates the Superbike World Championship in the hands of Miller’s former MotoGP rival Alvaro Bautista.

The Australian is currently in his second season in the Ducati stable and has been to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain as part of an open test with Moto2 and Moto3 riders.

It was there that Miller took the opportunity to ride the machine that is well on its way to bringing Ducati its first WorldSBK rider title since 2011, after Bautista’s devastating streak of 11 wins in 14 races.

Miller, who made his MotoGP debut in 2015 after taking the big jump straight out of Moto3, is enjoying a strong start to the 2019 MotoGP season after scooping a podium and two top four finishes in the first five races would have.
