Jorge Martín finished this Algarve GP in seventh place, crossing the finish line 10.1 seconds behind the winner Francesco Bagnaia.
After the end of the race, the young driver was asked if he was ever afraid of a fall when he stood at Turn 7 of the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve after his accident last April.
“On every lap I was a bit scared at turn seven because I felt a lot of movement there, and the bike was very restless in some parts of the track. I think I was quick, faster than Alex Marquez, which is important. I’m happy, it was one of my best races of the year. It was important to drive this race without accidents and confidently, ”he said in the debriefing.
