‘It’s clear that Jorge Martin has more future than me’ – Johann Zarco

Johann Zarco is in his second season under Pramac colors and since arriving in MotoGP in 2017, the Frenchman has claimed 11 podiums. However, victory is something that has yet to happen, and that is exactly what the #5 has been looking for throughout.

Quoted by Speedweek, the 31-year-old spoke about his experience in the premier class and says that although he is in his sixth year in MotoGP, he still feels young.

‘When we talk about MotoGP experience, I still feel very young, even if it’s my sixth season. Marc [Marquez]for example, has been in MotoGP since 2013, so he has more experience, even though I’m a little older,’ he said calmly about the age issue.

The rider continued and ended in laughter when he mentioned his team-mate’s name:

– I feel fresh, also because I haven’t gotten the result I’m dreaming of and wanting. When I train, I feel like I need to be even better prepared to achieve what I want. I feel okay, but it’s clear that [Jorge] Martin has more future than me.
