Video: The summary of Yamaha’s arduous MotoGP season

Monster Energy Yamaha entered the 2022 MotoGP World Championship season aiming to defend the championship title won by Fabio Quartararo in 2021 and, at the same time, attack the two team and constructors’ titles.

With Quartararo already having little to prove and Franco Morbidelli entering his first full year with the factory team, there were good prospects… but they did not materialize as the YZR-M1 was a few notches below the competition in terms of competitiveness and performance .

It was a season of ups and downs, in which Quartararo led for many months until he could no longer hold off Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati), finishing second behind the champion.
